Val Fonseca has a strong background in digital design and animation. They started their career at Th1ng in 2009 as a Freelance Animator/Colourist. From there, they worked as a Digital Designer at DJM Digital Solutions from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, Val began freelancing as a Digital Designer and Animator for Kookynetwork Ltd, where they remained until 2016. During this time, they also worked as a Freelance Digital Designer & Front End Developer at the Natural History Museum for a brief period in 2014. Val then joined Cheil Worldwide as a Freelance Digital Designer & Animator from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Val is employed as a Senior Product Designer at LANDBAY, where they have been working since 2016.

Val Fonseca has a diverse education history with a focus on user experience design and animation. In 2017, Val completed a program in User Experience Design at General Assembly.

In 2008, Val pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Animation at the University of the Arts London, which was completed in 2009.

Before that, Val obtained a Higher National Diploma in Interactive Media from Tower Hamlets College, from 2007 to 2008.

Furthermore, Val had previously completed a Foundation program in Interactive Media from the University of the Arts London, spanning from 2005 to 2007.
