Ben Barnett

Ben Barnett has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ben is currently working at LeadGenius as the Director of Product Management, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Techstars, where they served as a Senior Product Manager from 2019 to 2022. In this role, they aligned product strategy with the business strategy, developed business cases, and collaborated with stakeholders to enhance accelerator products and services. Ben also held the position of Product Manager at Techstars from 2019 to 2020, where they owned the development of a networking tool and managed external partnerships.

Before joining Techstars, Ben worked at ZOLL Data from 2014 to 2019. Ben held the position of Product Manager/Owner and was responsible for prioritizing features and bug fixes for an electronic patient charting reporting application. Ben also represented the product team at conferences and helped transition the team to Agile development. Additionally, they worked as a Business Analyst at ZOLL Data from 2014 to 2017, where they provided guidance on national requirements and led negotiations with state EMS and medical directors.

Ben's early work experience includes a role as a Midwest Brand Ambassador at phil&teds from 2011 to 2014. In this role, they managed a territory, oversaw sales and marketing activities, and executed product launches.

Throughout their career, Ben has demonstrated strong product management and leadership skills, successfully aligning product strategies with business goals, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving product development and improvement.

Ben Barnett has a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Northern Colorado. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Pragmatic Marketing Level 3 from Pragmatic Marketing in December 2016, Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in February 2018, and Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in May 2016.
