Andreas de Jong is a seasoned hydrogeologist and integrated water resources management expert with extensive freelance consulting experience at Geosearch International Ltd since July 1997. Additional roles include positions at Landell Mills Ltd as a hydrogeologist and climate change expert, and as a groundwater management expert with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH until December 2022. Previous experience encompasses a variety of roles in organizations such as Norplan, Lahmeyer International, Golder Associates, WSP Sverige, COWI, IWACO, and Al Masaood Gulf Geophysical Services (MGGS). Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Hydrogeology from UCL and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology from the University of Southampton.

What we do We aim to provide practical, hands-on, experienced and flexible advisers and trainers for our assignments and to back them up with competent and responsive supervision as well as strong administrative and financial support. Our business model is one of business development and project supervision at our head office with specially selected project teams in the field. Our goal is to make sure that our field personnel have everything that they need to succeed – clear terms of reference, adequate equipment, sufficient money, the best project staff and access to pools of expertise, as needed – and are supervised appropriately to ensure that project objectives are achieved, client and partner relationships are working and the beneficiaries obtain the promised impacts of the project.
