Landis Communities
Deborah Laws-Landis has extensive experience in marketing and communications, currently serving as the Director of Marketing & Communications at Landis Communities since June 2018, where responsibilities include promoting the organization and its affiliates across various platforms. Previously, Deborah held the same title at Landis Homes from April 1993 to May 2018, focusing on public communications regarding the organization's mission and values. Early in the career, Deborah served as the Older Adult Ministry Coordinator at Lancaster Mennonite Conference from 1988 to 1993, providing resources for ministries aimed at older adults. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia, where studies were completed from 1973 to 1975.
Landis Communities
Landis Communities was formed in September 2011 as a nonprofit organization. It is designed to coordinate and support a number of affiliate organizations which provide a range of Comforting Live-at-Home Services and Feel-at-Home Communities for those 55 and older. The mission of Landis Communities is to follow God’s call to creatively serve the diverse needs and interests of older adults by developing opportunities and collaborative relationships.
