Derek is responsible for development and execution of Signature's sales and customer engagement strategies, serving to promote the voice of the customer and creating solutions to to best serve the unique needs of all customers, ultimately driving customer loyalty and creating mutual value.
Following his most recent appointment as SVP, Global Sales for IHG Hotels & Resorts, Derek was responsible for sales efforts of IHG's portfolio of 17 brands, covering over 6,000 properties in more than 100 countries. He has been a board member on numerous travel and hospitality councils, and holds a Master's of Business Administration from Texas Christian University.
