Maura Metz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Maura started their professional career in 2010 as a UW-Milwaukee Campus Organizer for the Coordinated Campaign of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. Maura then served as a Project Assistant at UWM Women's Resource Center from February 2011 to May 2011. In May 2011, they worked as a Field Organizer for We Are Wisconsin before joining Wisconsin Voices as a Voter Engagement Manager in September 2011.
Maura's experience in the political arena continued with their role as a Marketing Intern at the Milwaukee County Transit System from May 2014 to August 2014. Maura also worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Marquette University from January 2014 to May 2015. During this time, they contributed to the field of education and research.
In 2015, Maura joined Common Ground as a Communication Intern for a brief period. Maura then transitioned to the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast, where they held the position of Social Media Manager/Campaign and Content Coordinator from May 2015 to December 2020.
In 2019, Maura became a Blog Contributor for Working Moms of Milwaukee, showcasing their expertise in writing and contributing to online platforms. Finally, in December 2020, they joined Landmark Credit Union as a Marketing Coordinator before assuming the role of Marketing Specialist in September 2022.
Maura Metz completed their primary education at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School from 2004 to 2007. Maura then pursued their higher education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. Subsequently, Maura pursued further academic achievements by attending Marquette University from 2013 to 2015, where they earned a Master's Degree in Communication.
