Ankur S.

Ankur S. has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Ankur is currently serving as the Head of Finance at Landmark Leisure since October 2022. Prior to this, Ankur worked at GMR Group for several years, holding positions such as Head of Finance for International Coal and AGM of Finance & Accounts. Ankur also served as a Manager of Finance for GE and an Associate Manager at GMR Group. Ankur began their career as a Chartered Accountant at Nagar Goel & Chawla before moving on to work as a Senior Executive in Legal and Corporate Commercial at Siemens.

Ankur S. completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting and Finance from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra in the years 1998 to 2001. Ankur then pursued the CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, specializing in Finance and Accounts, from 2002 to 2006.

In 2016, Ankur obtained an IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) Certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Ankur also completed a limited Insolvency Examination in 2020 from the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board Of India, focusing on the Bankruptcy Code, Companies Act, and other allied laws.

In terms of additional certifications, Ankur obtained a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Level I qualification from CFA Institute. Ankur also has completed various courses, including a Certificate Course in International Arbitration from Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai in December 2020, Excel Business Intelligence: Power Pivot and DAX, Excel Business Intelligence: Power Query, Using Power BI with Excel, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Strategic Thinking courses from LinkedIn in June 2020.

Furthermore, Ankur has received certifications in GE Controllership and GE US GAAP from GE in July 2012.
