Alex Parker

Alex Parker is an experienced educator and ice hockey coach currently serving as the Varsity Ice Hockey Coach and Upper School History Teacher at Landon School since June 2022. Prior to this role, Alex worked as a Social Studies Teacher at Montgomery County Public Schools from May 2017 to June 2022, specializing in Honors US History, Law, and AP U.S. Alex also held various coaching and instructional positions, including Head Instructor and Camp Director at Sport International Hockey Academy from June 2012 to August 2019 and Goaltending Director with Hockey Without Borders. Alex's coaching tenure includes leading teams at different age levels and facilitating transitions within collegiate hockey organizations. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Teaching and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, both from James Madison University.
