Claudia Lopez

Claudia has over 20 years of experience in clinical development and brings strong expertise in clinical strategy, trial design and execution, and program management. Most recently, Claudia was Senior Director, Clinical Science & Global Development Lead at Arena Pharmaceuticals, providing medical and clinical development leadership for their lead Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) program. Claudia also served as Clinical Science Director, US Medical Affairs at Takeda in support of the clinical development for a novel stem cell therapy in IBD, including the use of advanced study design concepts and protocols.

Claudia received her Veterinary Doctor’s degree from Universidad San Tomas, Chile, and holds her MS in Pharmaceutical Medicine from the University of Surrey, UK.
