Bergsteinn Einarsson

Bergsteinn Einarsson has extensive work experience in the banking sector. Beginning in 2005, they worked as a Quantitative Analyst at Kaupthing Bank until December 2006. In 2008, they transitioned to Landsbankinn, where they held various roles, starting as a Manager in ALM & Market Risk and progressing to Senior Director in the same department. Most recently, they have been serving as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Landsbankinn since October 2021.

Bergsteinn Einarsson obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from Háskóli Íslands, from the years 2001 to 2005.
