Prior to this position, Lilja held non-executive directorships at Icepharma ehf. and VCG Holdings Limited, contributing to companies focused on pharmaceutical distribution and branding solutions. With prior leadership as Managing Director at LBI hf - UK and significant involvement in the jewelry industry as a non-executive director at Aurum Holdings, Lilja also held the role of Board Chairman at Hamleys of London. Beginning the professional journey as a Risk Analyst at Ford Motor Company and Marsh, Lilja holds a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Cand.Sc. in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Iceland.
