Amy Cannon has a diverse work experience in communication and political roles. Amy currently works at Landsec as an External Communications Manager since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Communications Executive from July 2022 to April 2023 and as a Communications Executive from July 2021 to June 2022.
Before joining Landsec, Amy worked at Portland as an Executive from April 2020 to June 2021, and as a Graduate Trainee from September 2019 to April 2020.
Amy also has experience working for the Labour Party. In 2017, they worked in the Regional Press Team. In 2016, they worked as a Mobilisation Assistant, contributing to the successful delivery of the only "Remain" majority of any local authority within the West Midlands region during the 2016 Local Elections and the European Referendum.
Amy Cannon attended Durham University from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics. Prior to their university education, they studied at Bishop Vesey's Grammar School, although specific dates and details about their studies there are not available.
