Vanessa Simms

Vanessa was appointed Chief Financial Officer in May of 2021. Vanessa has extensive financial experience in the property sector, most recently as Chief Financial Officer at Grainger plc. Vanessa has particular expertise in leading and implementing strategic change in businesses and substantial experience of leadership roles in a listed environment.

Prior to Grainger plc, Vanessa was Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Unite Group plc and prior to that was UK Finance Director at SEGRO plc. Vanessa is Audit Chair and Non-executive Director at Drax Group Plc. Vanessa is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and Investment Committee and attends the Audit Committee meetings at the invitation of the Committee Chairman.
