Margit Norheim Lindgren

Margit Norheim Lindgren is a Sustainability Advisor at The Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO) since July 2022. Previously, Margit served as a researcher at Humboldt University of Berlin, focusing on the intersection of labor and environmental movements in the Bioeconomy and compiling a database of 280 digital technologies in the global food supply chain. Margit's experience includes an internship at IndustriALL Global Union, where research was conducted on Circular Economy implications for workers in the Mining and Metals sectors, and at Construction and General Building Laborers Local Union 79, contributing to union campaign strategies. Margit's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Labour Policies and Globalization, an Advanced Labor Certificate from CUNY, a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies from NYU Abu Dhabi, and an International Baccalaureate from UWC Mahindra College.
