JR Kennedy started their work experience in 2003 at Snittjer Grain Co. Inc. JR worked as a General Laborer until 2012 when they were promoted to the role of General Manager. In 2020, they joined Wolf Creek Grain Handling as the Chief Executive Officer. In 2023, they transitioned to a new company called Landus, where they currently hold the position of Strategic Account Leader.
JR Kennedy attended Grundy Center High School from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their High School degree. Following that, they pursued higher education at Iowa State University - College of Liberal Arts and Sciences from 2009 to 2012. JR successfully earned their Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture from there. In terms of additional certifications, JR Kennedy obtained a Crop Insurance license from the Iowa Insurance Division in January 2015. Additionally, they became a Licensed Commodity Broker - Licensed Branch Manager recognized by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission in December 2015.
