Roger Hayes, Jr. has over 35 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Roger currently serves as a Project Manager and IT Administrator at Landus Cooperative, where they are responsible for executing project management strategies and establishing Lean, Agile, and Project Management standards and practices. Roger also played a key role in establishing the company's project management methodology. Prior to their current role, they served as a Business Implementation Manager at Landus Cooperative.

Before joining Landus Cooperative, Roger worked at Farmers Cooperative Company as a Network Administrator. During their time there, they modernized the enterprise network infrastructure and implemented a private wireless network, resulting in reduced network communication costs and improved performance and uptime.

Roger also has experience in the manufacturing industry, having worked at Electrolux Home Products. In this role, they oversaw technology strategy, planning, project execution, and IT service delivery for multiple plants. Roger championed the development and implementation of the Electrolux Manufacturing System (EMS) by facilitating Lean workshops and value stream mapping workshops.

Prior to their time at Electrolux, Roger worked at the Iowa Department of Public Health as the PATH (Portable Access to Health) Project Manager.

In addition to their work experience, Roger co-owned and partnered at Extreme Technology/Hawkeye Delivery and served as the Director of Accounts Payable and System Administrator at TJB, Inc. dba Mattress Discounters.

Roger started their career in the US Navy as an Operations Specialist.

Roger Hayes, Jr. earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the American College of Computer and Information Sciences, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Webster City High School from 1977 to 1980, obtaining a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. In addition to their formal education, Hayes has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they became a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt through Lean Training & Consulting (LeanTAC). In 2013, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2017, they achieved the PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute. That same year, they became a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance.
