Lisa Schmitt currently serves as the Investment Director at Rentenbank since July 2022, focusing on investments in venture capital with a positive impact on agriculture, food, and nature, while also mentoring start-ups and holding advisory board roles in several ventures. In addition, Lisa has been an Investment Manager at RESPOND Accelerator since May 2021, taking on the role of Lead Coach for Agri-Food since 2024. Previous experience includes positions as Investment Manager at KfW Capital, where contributions were made to ESG and impact investing and extensive due diligence in European venture capital, and roles at KfW, Merck KGaA, Berenberg, and KPMG. Lisa holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Goethe University Frankfurt and has participated in a scholarship program at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
