David Alward

David Alward is a partner at Lane Clark & Peacock LLP. David has over seven years of experience as a consultant, advising both Trustee boards and Corporates. David is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and has experience consulting across a wide range of practice areas, including scheme actuarial support and Trustee advice, pensions and post-retirement healthcare accounting under UK and international accounting standards, actuarial valuation projects, insurance buy-in projects, pension scheme design projects, pension scheme closure to accrual exercises, and member data review exercises. David is also responsible for working within the business development team to build relationships with prospective clients and helping to win new business, the graduate and intern recruitment process in the Winchester office, including interviewing candidates, training, and mentoring student actuaries.

David Alward graduated with a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham. David is a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary and Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
