William Velez

William Velez currently serves as the Director of International Programs at Lane Community College and the Chair of Study Oregon, positions held since October 2022. Prior to these roles, William accumulated extensive experience in international admissions and recruitment at Chemeketa Community College from February 2014 to October 2022, where responsibilities included serving as Student Recruitment Coordinator and Assistant Director of International Admissions and Recruitment. William's involvement with Study Oregon also includes a tenure as Chair of the Study Oregon Consortia from March 2019 to August 2021 and as Chair from August 2016 to July 2017. Earlier experience includes various roles at Goshen College from August 2006 to January 2014, culminating in the position of Assistant Director of Admission and International Recruitment. William earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Music from Goshen College in 2006.
