Heather Buch

Heather Buch is a Lane County Commissioner, overseeing policy direction, constituent services, and the administration of 12 divisions with a workforce of 2,000 and a $1 billion budget since January 2019. Previously, Heather was the owner of Preferred Northwest Property Management from April 2006 to December 2020, where operations focused on affordable housing and mobile home parks, managing multimillion-dollar assets and collaborating with officials and vulnerable populations. Heather also served in various roles at St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County, Inc. from March 2011 to November 2018, including managing special projects related to affordable housing and acting as a consultant for real estate projects. Heather is an alumna of Emerge Oregon and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Seattle University.
