Bethany Shamblin

Bethany Shamblin, PHR, SHRM-CP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Bethany began their career as a Human Resources Intern at N.B. Handy in 2008. Bethany then joined Bedford Regional Water Authority as a Human Resources Manager in 2008 and received the 2017 Risk Management Excellence Award for their exceptional contributions in improving the safety culture at the authority. In 2019, Bethany joined Lanford Brothers Company, Inc. as a Human Resources Manager, and quickly progressed to the role of Director of HR & Safety. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Human Resources and Administration at Lanford Brothers Company, Inc. Overall, Bethany has consistently demonstrated their expertise and proficiency in managing and enhancing HR functions, as well as prioritizing safety within organizations.

Bethany Shamblin, PHR, SHRM-CP, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Lynchburg in 2008. Bethany also holds additional certifications, including the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute and the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
