Sumedh Arani

Sumedh Arani is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in high-performance computing and distributed systems. Currently employed at LangChain since November 2025, Sumedh previously contributed to Granica and Nutanix, where significant achievements included developing a roadmap for the Nutanix Distributed Storage Fabric, enhancing cluster resilience, and implementing intelligent data management features in Curator, a framework for managing large metadata sets. Prior roles include research positions at The Research Foundation for SUNY and internships at Arm, NVIDIA, and the Indian Institute of Science, focusing on compiler optimizations and multicore computing. Sumedh holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor's degree from PES University.
