Joe Desmond is a versatile music professional with extensive experience in education and performance. Currently serving as a Teaching Professional in Langley School District #35 since December 2022, Joe has also been a music teacher at Whiterock School of Music and Dance since September 2011. As a performer since June 1992, Joe provides a unique blend of original music and covers, and was a part of the rock band Jesus Lost Vegas from May 2008 to January 2014. Joe's early career included a focus on songwriting, especially with the project Deep Creek from March 2007 to March 2010. Joe holds a BFA in Music/Film from York University and has studied audition technique and scene study at the Company of Rogues.
