Federica Meacci

Federica Meacci has diverse work experience in the language services industry. Federica currently holds the role of Strategic Director at Language Insight since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked at THG Fluently starting in July 2012, where they held various roles such as MR Operations Director, Operations Manager - UK Research, Lead Project Manager - Market Research Team, and Project Manager - Market Research. Federica also has experience as a Project Executive - Market Research at Language Connect from July 2012 to July 2013. Before entering the language services industry, Federica worked as a Freelance Interpreter and Translator from October 2009 to April 2014. Federica also gained valuable experience as an Assistant Interpreting Services Manager intern at Language Connect, a Culture and Press Officer intern at the Italian Consulate General, a simultaneous interpreter at I.T.S. Intérpretes y Traductores Salamanca, a liaison and whispered interpreter at the Regional Park of the Apuan Alps, and a liaison interpreter at Centro Estero delle camere di commercio del Veneto.

Federica Meacci has a fairly diverse education history. In 2003, they began their undergraduate studies at Università degli Studi di Firenze, focusing on Modern Languages. Federica completed their undergraduate degree in 2006. After that, in 2007, they enrolled in SSLMIT di Trieste to pursue a postgraduate degree in Conference Interpreting, which they completed in 2010. In the same year, they also attended the University of Leeds for a year abroad, where they studied English, Russian, Spanish, and Translation.
