Marisa Gillio

Marisa Gillio has a diverse work experience in the language services field. Marisa started working at Language Link Corp. in 2010, where they held multiple roles including CEO, Trainer, Certified Medical Interpreter, and Language Services Coordinator. Marisa was involved in providing affordable solutions for healthcare providers to communicate effectively with non-English speaking patients. In 2014, they became a member of CT Partners for Health and also worked as a Medical Spanish Instructor at Yale University. Marisa continued their role as an Interpreter Coordinator at Language Link Corp until 2015. Additionally, from 2010 to 2014, they worked at Yale New Haven Hospital as a Certified Medical Interpreter in Spanish.

Marisa Gillio obtained a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from The Graduate Institute from 2011 to 2013. Marisa also obtained additional certifications in Minority Women's Business Enterprise from the State of Washington in June 2014, and in Hispanic Woman Owned/Small-Minority Business Enterprise from the State of Connecticut in March 2014.
