Kelsey Abernathy

Kelsey Abernathy is an accomplished professional in the field of commercial development, currently serving as Manager of Commercial Development at Early Charm since May 2023 and as Commercial Development Manager at Lankenau Ventures since August 2023. Kelsey co-founded AlgenAir, where Kelsey held the positions of Co-Founder and CEO from August 2018 to December 2024, and also served as a Board Member at Upcycled Inc. from February 2022 to September 2023. Kelsey was part of the Techstars Kansas City 2021 cohort with AlgenAir. Kelsey earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. Mary's College of Maryland.
