Maria Daza is a highly experienced Senior Conference Planning Manager at Lansdowne Resort and Spa since July 2021. Prior to this role, Maria served as the Director of Catering Events and Event Planning at Hyatt Hotels Corporation from January 2017 to July 2021, where oversight of a team of nine catering sales and event planning staff was maintained while managing a personal annual quota of $1.2 million. Maria successfully generated revenue from the local corporate market, particularly targeting technology and defense sectors, and exceeded the annual sales quota in 2017 by 120%, earning the prestigious Elite Performer award. Maria also held the position of Associate Director of Events at Hyatt Regency Reston from June 2009 to January 2017.
