Heather Shawa

Heather Shawa is an accomplished finance and operations professional with extensive experience in strategic consulting and leadership roles. Currently serving as Assistant General Manager and Chief Financial Officer at Lansing Board of Water & Light since February 2015, Heather has previously owned and consulted for Shadawa LLC, providing services in strategic planning, virtual CFO functions, and project management. Earlier roles include VP of Operations and CFO at Demmer Corporation, where leadership fostered significant growth in both revenue and employee numbers, and Senior Accountant at Barnes Aerospace, where essential accounting functions were managed. Heather holds a Master's Degree in Business from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business Management from Northwood University.
