Lansing School District
Henrietta DuCap is an accomplished author and educator with a diverse background in teaching and writing. Currently serving as an author at Hidden Shelf Publishing House since May 2024, Henrietta has been actively involved in the Lansing School District since September 2019 in various roles, including substitute teacher, special education paraprofessional, and writing mentor for an after-school writing club targeted at students in grades 1-3. Additional experience includes working as an administrative assistant for the Children’s Ministry at New Hope Church and leading summer camp activities for Lansing Parks and Recreation. Prior to these roles, Henrietta contributed as a freelance writer for Textbroker International and held teaching positions at First Nazarene Childcare & Learning Academy and Grand Rapids International Fellowship. Henrietta holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Cornerstone University and has studied children's literature at the University of Oxford.
