Rebecca-Lynn Douglas

Rebecca-Lynn Douglas is an experienced education and outreach professional currently serving as an Extended Learning and Outreach Specialist with the Lansing School District since January 2020. In this role, Rebecca-Lynn works as an Extended Learning Contractor in the Bilingual Education Department, focusing on supporting refugee students. With extensive experience as an author and illustrator, alongside previous management in the food service industry at Sleepwalker Spirits and Ale, Rebecca-Lynn has also led after-school programs through the Refugee Development Center. Early career roles include design work at ReLoved Designs, care provision in private childcare, and development instruction in Zambia. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Michigan State University and an Associate degree in Environmental Technology from Lansing Community College.
