David Schultz is an accomplished music director and violist with extensive experience in orchestral leadership. Currently serving as the Music Director for the MASON ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY and the DEXTER COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA since 2019, as well as the Livingston Symphony Orchestra since 2012, Schultz has a robust background in conducting and performance. Additionally, Schultz held the position of Music Director for the Jackson Youth Symphony Orchestra from 2009 to 2020 and has performed as a violist with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra since 2006. Schultz holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Orchestral Conducting and a Master of Music in Viola Performance from Michigan State University, along with a Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance from Lawrence University.
