Credit Collections Manager at Lantana Communications

Lisa Skelly has worked in the credit and accounts receivable field since 2003. Lisa began their career at Fasteners Incorporated as a Credit Manager/Accounts Receivable Lead, where they were an assistant to the President and Vice President of the company. In this role, they managed Credit, Collections and Accounts Receivable functions and teams for multi-locations business groups. Lisa also reviewed Credit Limits while viewing existing accounts and recommending action, including account holds or suspensions, credit limit adjustments, credit limit adjustments, or collection and worked closely with the Sales Team to ensure that sales were optimized while risk was kept at acceptable levels. In 2010, Skelly moved to Ogle School as a Credit Manager. In 2012, they joined Lantana Communications as a Credit Collections Manager, where they managed internal collections while following FDCPA Collection Guidelines. Lisa also managed various global corporate accounts, carried over the same trusted third party collections agency from Michigan to Texas while maintaining a strong solid business relationship, and served as a liaison between the collection department and credit office. Skelly also reduced risk of loss by implementing varying credit control measures, especially for small retain accounts, and completed daily reviews of customer reconciliations and cash applications. Additionally, they analyzed and improved the collection process in order to ensure the best quality of the receivable assets and most control, and ensured bad debt losses were maintained at the lowest practical level.

Lisa Skelly attended Grand Rapids Community College from 1994 to 1996, where they earned an Associates degree in Psychology. Lisa then attended University of Phoenix from 2009 to 2012, where they earned an Associates degree in Hospitality Management.
