Eric Knutsen, PMP has over 20 years of experience in program and project management. Eric began their career in 1998 as a Technical Writer at Telxon, then moved on to become a Manager of Systems Design at NeTeam Corporation in 2000. In 2002, they joined the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) as an IT Specialist. In 2004, they moved to SRA International as an Associate Science/Technology Manager. In 2011, they became the Program Manager for the NIOSH Information Management Systems Services Contract (NIMSS) at CACI International Inc. where they led a team of 80+ personnel and a $10 Million annual budget. In 2016, they began consulting for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at NIOSH as a Specialist, where they were responsible for redefining and designing NIOSH's new program/project management system for an institute-wide deployment. In 2018, they joined Karna, LLC as an IT Project Manager and in 2020, they became the Project Lead at Maximus. Currently, they are the Program Director at Lantana Consulting Group.

Eric Knutsen obtained a BA in Psychology from West Virginia University between 1994 and 1998. Eric then obtained a Wireless LAN for SEs and FEs certification from Cisco in June 2001, followed by a CCDA certification from Cisco in October 2001 and a CCNA certification from Cisco in June 2001. In May 2008, they obtained a Project Management Professional certification from PMI.
