James Zhao

James Zhao is an experienced Application Engineer currently working at Lantech since June 2021, specializing in programming with Studio 5000 and TIA Portal, commissioning electrical panels, and designing electrical schematics using AutoCAD. Previously, as a Controls Engineer at Bohnert Equipment Co Inc from August 2017 to June 2020, James designed user-friendly HMIs, performed PLC programming and debugging, and managed electrical team tasks. James also has experience as a Project Engineer Co-op with Omni Hotels & Resorts, focusing on project monitoring and communication with subcontractors, and as an Electrical Engineering Intern at CMTA, Inc., where electrical systems were designed for various projects. James holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville.
