Network Engineer / Sr Support MSP Engineer at LANTIUM

David Carlin has extensive work experience in the IT industry, spanning over 20 years. David is currently employed at LANTIUM as a Network Engineer and Senior Support MSP Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at TechWise Group as a Network Engineer and Technologist, providing remote end user and company-level support, as well as cloud services and Office 365 support.

Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, David worked at Forgent Networks as a Systems Administrator. Their responsibilities included managing mail servers, file and DNS servers, desktop support, and network hardware management.

From 1998 to 2002, David worked at VTEL Corporation as a Customer Service Engineer and IT Site Coordinator. Their main responsibilities included video conferencing network support, H.323 video conferencing support, and MCU management.

Before their career in the IT industry, David worked as an Account Representative and Consumer Loan Officer at a division of PNC Bank from 1993 to 1998.

David Carlin began their education at Cardinal Dougherty High School from 1981 to 1985, where they earned their diploma with a focus on Electronics and Accounting. David then attended LaSalle University from 1988 to 1991, majoring in Liberal Arts with a specific emphasis on Computer Science.

In 1992, David enrolled at the Community College of Philadelphia, where they pursued an Associates degree in Computer Science and Liberal Arts, completing their studies in 1998. During this time, they also obtained a certification in MCSE from Ameritrain INC in 1998.

In 2002, David further expanded their knowledge and skills by earning two additional certifications. David received a certification in A+ from COMP TIA and a certification in Net+ from COMP TIA as well.
