David Roberts

David Roberts is a seasoned professional in the agriculture, education, and training sectors. They served as President of the British Grassland Society from 2009 to 2010 and held the position of Principal Researcher at SAC from 1983 to 1992. Currently, they are a Non-Executive Director at Lantra and Borders College, Board Chair at the Hannah Dairy Research Foundation, and continue to contribute to agriculture research and education as a Retired but still working freelancer. Previously, they were Head of the Agriculture Department at SRUC from 2019 to 2021 and held the title of Professor of Dairy Farming Systems and Head of the Dairy Research and Innovation Centre, overseeing significant research in dairy systems, nutrition, and soils.
