Wilhelm Rehbein

Wilhelm Rehbein is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in application technology and research within the lubricant additives sector. Currently serving as Senior Manager Application Technology at LANXESS Deutschland GmbH since January 2015, Wilhelm focuses on developing guideline formulations and additive packages for metalworking applications, alongside overseeing research projects and providing technical support. Prior to LANXESS, Wilhelm worked as Technical Application Manager at Rhein Chemie from March 2011 to December 2014, where responsibilities included the development of formulations for metalworking applications. Wilhelm's career began at oelheld, where a combination of roles as R&D Manager and Technical Application Manager involved developing metalworking fluids and conducting research in dielectric fluids for electro discharge machining. Wilhelm holds a Specialist Engineer degree in Chemical Analysis and Spectroscopy from Leipzig University, a Graduate Engineer degree in Chemistry from Reutlingen University, and a Diploma in Chemical-Technical Assistance from Chemieschule Dr. Binder.
