Tom Urbanowski

Tom Urbanowski has a diverse work experience in the chemical and manufacturing industry. Tom started their career in 1994 as a Process Engineer at Gb Biosciences and progressed to the role of Operations Engineer. Tom then became a Unit Superintendent, where they managed a team of employees and implemented various HSE initiatives. As an Operations Manager, Tom was responsible for driving Lean/Operational Excellence initiatives and ensuring safe and efficient production. In 2020, they joined LanzaJet as a Senior Plant Process Engineer, where they collaborated with design engineers and managed the environmental permitting process for a new manufacturing facility. Currently, Tom holds the position of Technical Manager at LanzaJet, where they oversee technical aspects, develops policies and procedures, and ensures safety and cost optimization.

Tom Urbanowski attended Auburn University from 1989 to 1994, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering.
