Ava Rhule

Ava Rhule is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in biotechnology and pharmaceutical sciences. Currently serving as a Senior Technology Strategy Advisor and Senior Product Manager at LanzaTech, Ava oversees a portfolio of products and collaborates with global teams across various functions. Previous roles at LanzaTech include Fermentation Product Manager, Process and Quality Assurance Lead Scientist, Scientist, and Research Associate, where responsibilities ranged from managing product development processes to training staff in microbial fermentation methods. Prior academic positions include Postdoctoral Research Associate at Rosalind Franklin University and Postdoctoral Fellow at Penn State University, focusing on cytokine family roles in disease pathology and multiple sclerosis research, respectively. Ava also held teaching roles at Pima Community College and Brown Mackie College. Ava holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences/Pharmacology from the University of Montana and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Food Chemistry from the University of the West Indies.
