Dirk Snel

Dirk Snel has extensive work experience in various industries. Dirk currently holds the position of Senior Business Director at LanzaTech, where they are responsible for growth and strategic projects. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant in the same company. Before joining LanzaTech, they served as an Interim Finance Professional and CFO at Meandros Interim Management B.V. Additionally, Dirk has experience as a private investor and advisor at P&D Deli Pies & Coffee Co. Dirk also held several roles within Abellio Group, including CFO and Geschäftsführer Finanzen at Abellio Germany and CEO a.i. at Abellio GmbH. Furthermore, they have worked in leadership positions at NS, Dutch Railways, NS Stations International BV, NS Stations France SAS, and NS Stations Retailbedrijf BV (formerly Servex BV), where they held the position of CFO. Dirk Snel completed their education at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Dirk obtained a Master's degree in Business Economics from 1986 to 1993. Dirk then pursued further studies and earned a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from 1993 to 1999. Following this, they completed a program in Postgraduate Auditing. In 1999, they obtained another postgraduate degree, this time in Postgraduate Controlling, and became a Registered Financial Controller. Additionally, in 2002, they participated in the Financial Executive Program (NBA VRC), although the duration and type of degree obtained are not specified.
