James Daleiden is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in bioprocess engineering, particularly with LanzaTech since November 2015, where roles include Senior Bioprocess Engineer and Scientist within various teams focused on process integration and strain development. Prior to this, James contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, specializing in bio-transformation research, and held multiple research roles in biomass and fermentation processes. Additional experience includes the role of Air Measurements Technician at TRC Companies, Inc., and undergraduate research in chemistry and environmental sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. James holds a Master’s Degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Illinois.
