Jess Vasina

Jess Vasina currently serves as the Vice President of Fermentation at LanzaTech, a role held since May 2024. Prior to this position, Jess held the Vice President of Manufacturing and Process Development at Huue from December 2022 to May 2024 and the Vice President of Process Technology and Manufacturing at Impossible Foods between August 2021 and December 2022. Jess's extensive career at Cargill spanned over two decades, during which various leadership roles were held, including Global Process Development and Piloting Leader, Director of Biotechnology Research and Development, and Principal Engineer. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
