Jasna Gara

Jasna Gara is a seasoned professional in the music and arts industry, currently serving as Vice President of Programming at MAEVE since July 2024, focusing on empowering mothers through community support and engagement. As President and Founder of Mothers in Music since January 2023, Jasna has been dedicated to fostering representation and opportunities in the music field. With extensive experience at LA Opera since September 2019, Jasna has held multiple roles including Production Manager and Operations and Digital Content Manager, where responsibilities have encompassed audio production, digital marketing, and educational program operations. Previous positions include Music and Creative Director at California Institute of the Arts, Music Educator at West Coast Music Academy, and Choir Director at ROTU Entertainment & Media. Jasna holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from Berklee College of Music and a Master of Fine Arts in Music Composition and Performance from California Institute of the Arts.
