Dr. Jeffry Phillips

Dr. Jeffry Phillips is currently the Commanding Officer at the LAPD's Facilities Management Division, where the mission is to provide insights on law enforcement performance measurements. An advocate for internal audits within policing, Dr. Phillips emphasizes compliance with policies and laws based on both practical experience and academic research. They serve as an Adjunct Professor at California State University, Los Angeles, and hold the position of 2nd Vice President at the Hispanic America Police Command Officers Association. Previously, Dr. Phillips was the Commanding Officer in the LAPD's Audit Division and has held leadership roles in various organizations, including as President of Elite Performance Auditing Consultants and the International Law Enforcement Auditors Association. Dr. Phillips earned a Doctor of Public Administration from the University of La Verne and multiple degrees in Public Administration and Criminal Justice from California State University, Los Angeles.
