Melissa Surma M.a., Ccc-Slp

Melissa Surma, M.A., CCC-SLP, currently serves as a Speech Language Pathologist at Lapeer Community Schools since July 2020. Prior experience includes roles at Taylor School District and Communication and Speech Services, providing pediatric speech-language pathology services from August 2016 to August 2020 and June 2016 to July 2020, respectively. Additionally, Melissa worked as a Graduate Assistant at Central Michigan University from January 2015 to December 2015 and as a Student Caller for CMU Phone-A-Thon from September 2012 to June 2013. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Central Michigan University, completed in 2016, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the same institution, earned in 2014. Early education was completed at Divine Child Catholic High School, graduating in 2010.
