Ruben Perez

Ruben Perez, CPA, has extensive experience in the accounting and auditing field, currently serving as an Audit Manager at LaPorte CPAs & Business Advisors since September 2013, where responsibilities include conducting audits for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Prior experience includes a volunteer role at Neighborhood Centers Inc. from February 2010 to April 2012, assisting with the preparation of individual income tax returns, and serving as an MS, Accountant & Youth Leader at Catedral de la Familia from January 2008 to March 2012, where tasks included maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and participating in budget decisions as a member of the Financial Committee. Ruben holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Professional Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, completed between 2008 and 2011.
