Dhruv Kocheta

Dhruv Kocheta has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Dhruv started their career as a Trainee Engineer at Kotkar Energy & Dynamics Pvt. Ltd. in 2005. In 2006, they worked as a Project Coordinator at Oswal Leisure ltd. Dhruv then interned as an Industrial Engineer at Tiffany in 2007.

Dhruv joined Lapp Cable Works Inc. in 2007 and served as a Junior Engineer before becoming a Product Engineer in 2008. In 2011, they transitioned to LAPP USA, where they held the position of Senior Product Engineer until 2014. In that role, they managed cross-functional teams and provided technical assistance to various stakeholders. Dhruv then took on the role of Senior Applications and Senior Product Engineer at LAPP USA from 2014 to 2018. In this role, they led the technical and applications support for various product lines and played a significant role in developing compelling business cases, managing technical evaluations, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Currently, Dhruv Kocheta is the Director of Engineering at Lapp Group since November 2022. Dhruv is responsible for overseeing the engineering department and leading product design and development. Dhruv also holds the position of Head of Applications Engineering at Lapp Group, where they utilize their technical expertise to support sales teams and coordinate with cross-functional teams for optimal resource planning and product prioritization.

Throughout their career, Dhruv has demonstrated a strong focus on product development, technical expertise, and effective stakeholder management.

Dhruv Kocheta has a strong education background in engineering and manufacturing systems. Dhruv obtained a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute Of Technology in 2005. Dhruv'shigh school education was at The Daly College, Indore where they studied Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science from 1996 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Dhruv has also obtained various certifications. In 2017, they received the Lean Overview - Services certification from Oriel STAT A MATRIX. Dhruv also obtained certifications in FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and Data Acceptance Program from UL Solutions in 2017 and 2008, respectively.
