Elaine Jones Hayes

Elaine Jones Hayes is an experienced librarian with a robust career spanning various roles in library services. Since September 2016, Elaine has worked as a Reference Librarian at Laramie County Community College, while also serving in the Laramie County Library System as the Assistant Manager of Reference and Adult Services and Special Collections Librarian since May 2000. In these roles, Elaine provides general reference services, acts as a genealogy specialist, and teaches genealogy classes. Previously, Elaine worked as a Medical Librarian at Primary Children's Medical Center from 1995 to 2000, offering circulation, reference, and interlibrary loan services. Elaine began their career at the University of Utah Eccles Health Sciences Library from 1990 to 1995 as a Stacks Manager/Circulation Supervisor. Elaine holds a Master of Library Science from Emporia State University and two degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder, including a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Teaching Certification in Elementary Education.
