Tim MacDonald

Tim MacDonald is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing web applications and a specialization in PHP and Laravel projects. Currently employed at Laravel since May 2022, Tim previously held the position of Staff Software Engineer and Back-end Chapter Lead at Big Picture from 2020 to 2022. Tim also served as a Senior Developer at Tixel in 2019 and began a career in software development as a Software Developer at Timothy MacDonald from 2016 to 2019. Earlier experience includes developing language revitalization tools for Indigenous languages at Wiradjuri Condoblin Corporation from 2015 to 2017 and working as a Web Developer at Wagga Wagga Web from 2011 to 2015. Tim is dedicated to creating engaging and performant applications with a strong emphasis on Test Driven Development.
