Erin Coutts serves as the Executive Director of the Los Angeles Regional Collaborative for Climate Action and Sustainability (LARC) since October 2019, where the focus is on enhancing coordination of climate adaptation and mitigation efforts in LA County through collaboration with local and regional decision-makers. Previous roles include Lecturer at UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability in early 2023, Researcher at UCLA Luskin Center for Innovation and UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, and Communications Specialist and Outreach Coordinator at the Global Development and Environment Institute. Earlier experience includes GIS Intern at the City of Cambridge, Field Project Team Member with The Trust for Public Land, and various educational and administrative roles. Educational qualifications encompass a Master’s Degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University and a BA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution & Spanish from American University.
